Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Welcome to Worthy Beings. By booking or participating in any counselling service, wellbeing program, workshop, event, or equine-assisted wellbeing activity, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy.

These terms are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive experience for all participants while supporting the smooth operation of services provided by Worthy Beings.

Bookings and Payments

All appointments, programs, workshops, and events must be booked through the approved Worthy Beings booking system or by direct arrangement.

Payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment or place within a program.

Program places are limited and bookings are confirmed only once payment arrangements have been completed.

Worthy Beings reserves the right to amend service fees, program fees, and payment arrangements at any time. Any changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

Counselling Services

Counselling services are intended to provide support, personal growth, wellbeing strategies, and assistance in navigating life's challenges.

Counselling is not a crisis service.

If you require urgent support, are experiencing a mental health crisis, or are at immediate risk of harm, please contact emergency services on 000 or attend your nearest Emergency Department.

Worthy Beings reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where it is determined that the service requested falls outside the scope of practice, expertise, or safety considerations of the practitioner.

Appropriate referrals may be recommended where alternative or additional support services are considered more suitable.

Participant Responsibilities

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat facilitators, staff, volunteers, horses, and fellow participants with respect.

  • Follow all safety instructions provided during sessions and programs.

  • Arrive on time where possible.

  • Participate in a manner that supports a safe and inclusive environment.

  • Notify Worthy Beings of any relevant health concerns that may impact participation.

Worthy Beings reserves the right to refuse participation or discontinue services where participant behaviour places themselves, others, horses, facilitators, or members of the public at risk.

Late Arrivals

Clients arriving up to 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment time may continue with the remainder of their session.

Sessions will conclude at the scheduled finish time and will not be extended due to late arrival.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a non-attendance (No Show). In these circumstances, the full session fee may be charged, and the appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Worthy Beings may take photographs, videos, or promotional content during programs, workshops, events, and activities.

Images or promotional material will only be used with the written consent of the participant or, where required, their parent or guardian.

Worthy Beings is not responsible for disruptions caused by a participant's internet connection, equipment, software, or technology.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Worthy Beings will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from participation in counselling services, wellbeing programs, workshops, events, online services, or equine-assisted wellbeing activities.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
